Provide a clear photo or scan of your valid passport. The full page must be visible.
- Include the information page with your photo, name, passport number, date of birth, issue date, and expiry date.
- For passports with two relevant pages, include both parts in one clear image when possible.
- Do not crop edges. Avoid glare, blur, fingers, or shadows.
2. Contact and Tax Information
- Email address.
- Phone number.
- Tax residency country.
- Foreign residential address, including city, country, and postal code.
3. Mailing Address for IRS Notices
A U.S. mailing address is recommended because IRS ITIN notices usually arrive faster there.
You may use your own U.S. address, or a trusted relative or friend's U.S. address.
If you do not have one, we can provide a U.S. mailing address. This is included in our application fee.
4. Extra Documents If Applicable
- U.S. visa: provide it if you have one.
- Married filing jointly reason: provide Form 1040.
- Other application reasons: we review your case after payment and confirm the strongest valid filing path.
After Payment
After payment, we check your information, confirm what documents are needed, and prepare the ITIN application in the way most likely to pass IRS review.
